MYRA MAY CHILDE (nee KNIGHT) On May 15, 2007, at the age of 89, Myra May Childe, wife of Montague Ivor Childe, passed away at Tuxedo Villa. She was predeceased by her first husband Edward William Hinton. Myra will forever be remembered by her son Herbert Hinton; husband Ivor; grandchildren, Alana, Ward, Glenn and Gregg; great-grand-children, Caitlyn, Emmalee and Charly; and brother Lawrence Knight. Myra was born March 29, 1918 in St. Clements, MB, coming from a large family of 13 children. While residing for most of her life in Winnipeg, she loved to travel and traversed the world on many scenic trips. Always loving a good spot of tea and a game of cards, Myra was a very social person. Her outgoing, friendly nature was a fine asset in serving her God, Jehovah. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Myra, together with Ivor, spent much time studying the Bible and helping others come to know the Good News of God's Kingdom. She often encouraged others by sharing with them the promises recorded at Revelation 21:3,4 of a time when death would be no more; and at Psalms 37:11 when the earth would be free of wickedness and filled with an abundance of peace . She had strong faith in Jehovah's promise of a future resurrection to a paradise earth with these conditions. Ivor and the family would like to thank all of her spiritual brothers and sisters for their loving support and care throughout the years. Their kindness is much appreciated and will not be forgotten. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1060 Wolever Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Flowers are gratefully declined. The family would like to thank the staff of Tuxedo Villa for their compassion and care. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 1531 Pembina Hwy 284-7500
